Hi, I’m Katherine

I teach people how to show up with confidence when it matters most.

How I Got Here

I spent the first half of my life learning what it takes to perform under pressure.

As Princeton University's varsity squash team captain and #1 player for four years, I won the intercollegiate singles squash championship and competed at the highest level collegiately and on the world stage. By age 22, I had become a 10x National Champion, USOC Athlete of the Year, and represented the USA in three international competitions.

But here's what that really taught me: Excellence isn't just about talent.
It's about presence, preparation, and the ability to show up with confidence when everything is on the line.

The Transition That Changed Everything

After my athletic career ended, I faced the same challenge many of my clients face now:
Being exceptional at one thing doesn't automatically make you confident as you move into the next thing. In fact, it can create self-sabotage and mental paralysis due to incredibly high internal standards.

No amount of trophies or accolades diminished my very real imposter syndrome as I headed into my professional career. What I couldn’t see then was that even though I was a beginner again at the start of my career, I did have access to three critical assets: a mindset, work ethic, and emotional intelligence that could set me apart as a professional. I discovered that my path to career success included learning entirely new professional languages - how to present myself, how to demonstrate value, how to build credibility in contexts where no one knew my name.

That struggle became my education.

I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College because I wanted to understand not just what to teach, but how people actually learn. I worked across finance, tech, and education, and then built a business from scratch - learning what it takes to translate capability into credibility.

Every transition required learning how to show up differently without losing myself.

What I've Learned

Over the past decade, I've coached elected officials, TEDx speakers, entrepreneurs, and Gen Z graduates stepping into their first professional roles. I've been featured in The New York Times for my work teaching executive presence to women in leadership.

Here's what I know for certain:

The problem is rarely capability. It's presence and communication.

Off the court, talent doesn't speak for itself. You have to learn how to show it.
And most people are never taught how.

That's exactly what I teach.

Not theory. Not generic advice. Specific, learnable skills that help you show up with confidence, communicate your value clearly, and build the professional presence that opens doors.

Why This Matters to Me

I'm a first-generation college student who attended Princeton, navigating various levels of unknown territory while balancing hard work and self-doubt . I know what it's like to not have the "unwritten rules" handed to you.

I'm also a mom of two Gen Z young adults navigating their own career launches. I see firsthand the gap between what universities teach and what the professional world expects.

And I'm an entrepreneur who has learned by trial and error.

After a career in the private and public sectors, I jumped into entrepreneurship and discovered that building a business is the biggest test of personal and professional growth I've ever encountered - bigger than elite athletics, bigger than corporate success.

I've worn all the hats: marketing and sales, operations and technology, CEO and CFO. I've invested tens of thousands of dollars in my own development - sometimes getting huge ROI, sometimes shocked by the lack of deliverables and empty promises from coaches who talked a good game but couldn't deliver.

What I learned is this: It's really hard to do alone. And you shouldn't have to.

That's why I do what I do. Whether you're an emerging professional trying to launch a career and establish a professional network, or an entrepreneur trying to position your expertise and fill your calendar, you need someone who's been there - who knows what actually works and what's just noise.

I do this work because capable people deserve better than:

  • Stumbling through years of trial and error

  • Spending money on "gurus" who overpromise and underdeliver

  • Figuring out the unwritten rules through painful mistakes

Professional presence and business development shouldn't be mysteries. They should be mentored.

Beyond Work

Outside of my business, I'm usually with my family and friends - traveling, playing and coaching sports, or diving into creative projects like sewing and design. I also love dancing, hearing live music, thrift shops, and checking out piles of books from the local library.

What fills me up: Laughter, authenticity, learning, and connection.

I believe that taking on each new chapter of life with curiosity, goodwill, and a growth mindset allows each of us to open up opportunities and relationships more rewarding than we could ever imagine.

That's the lens I bring to my work.

Professional presence isn't about performing a role. It's about showing up as yourself, with intention and confidence - and that's exactly how I approach mentoring. I help you become more of who you already are, not someone you think you should be.

Who I Work With

I serve two distinct audiences who need the same core expertise

 Emerging Professionals

Emerging professionals have the degree, the credentials, and the desire to work. But they're struggling to land interviews or convert them into offers.

The problem isn't their capability—it's that no one taught them the professional presence skills employers actually hire for.

I work with emerging professionals who need to:

  • Communicate professionally in interviews and networking situations

  • Understand workplace norms and expectations

  • Present their experience with confidence

  • Build the soft skills that lead to job offers and career advancement

What parents tell me: "My graduate is smart and hardworking, but they're losing opportunities to candidates who simply interview better."

Coaches, Entrepreneurs & Speakers

You have expertise that transforms clients' lives. But you are lacking confidence, you don’t have a clear path forward, and you're exhausted from inconsistent revenue. The problem isn't your capability—it's that you haven't learned how to position your expertise or present yourself to make a memorable first impression.

I work with professionals who need to:

  • Align their professional image with their brand positioning and messaging

  • Communicate their value with confidence

  • Convey executive presence that commands premium fees

  • Create visibility that attracts ideal clients

What clients tell me: "I'm great at what I do, but I am not showing up in a way that feels congruent and confident."
